In order to keep one fit and free of diseases it is better to take healthy food. Children should be encouraged by parents to eat healthy food to keep away from obesity. A healthy intake of food and regular exercise is always a better idea to keep oneself fit always. Once a person gets affected with diabetes it is very important that he keeps in mind what he eats . It is better to figure out things first and act accordingly following the same diet everyday.

Some things that are to be kept under consideration: a) Regular intake of leafy vegetables and fresh fruits which are good for diabetic patients.

b) Say no to sweet stuff. As too much intake can cause fluctuations in the blood sugar levels. The first thing any doctor would suggest is to lessen or say no to sugar.

c) Obesity can be controlled with regular exercise and a strong NO to excess eating .To control obesity it is a better option to consult a doctor first and then take advice of dieticians.

It is a common question eating every one’s brains is how long the diabetic diet should be maintained. The answer is simple. It is always safe to ask a doctor first and stick to the advice. After all health is wealth. Saying NO to odd stuff should not be a matter of importance as no control on food may lead to disturbances in life. So it is always safe to control your diet to maintain levels in the body after a person gets affected with the disease.

Another question that is commonly asked that for how long should we continue this diet which has been described by the doctor. I don’t think that this is as much a big issue. You should continue with it. From a medical point of view you should continue it. Only then can you live an active and healthy life.
